From One Yatra to India’s Most Trusted Kailash Operator

Trip To Temples was not born in a boardroom. It was born on the Kailash Parikrama route — in the thin air at 5,000 metres, among pilgrims whose devotion outpaced their preparation.

Our founder made his first Kailash Yatra as a pilgrim, not as a tour operator. What he witnessed — pilgrims with inadequate acclimatisation, groups stranded due to permit failures, senior citizens struggling without proper medical support — made him angry. Not angry in a helpless way, but in the way that compels action. In 2012, Divine Mantra Private Limited was registered, and Trip To Temples was launched with a single, non-negotiable commitment: that every pilgrim who books with us will be treated with the same care we would want for our own parents making this journey. Today, over 2,500 pilgrims have stood at the shore of Lake Mansarovar with us. They have completed the Kailash Parikrama, taken the holy dip on Purnima, crossed Dolma La at 5,630 metres, and returned home transformed. Every single one of their permits was approved — not a single Tibet Travel Permit rejection in our entire history. That is the story of Trip To Temples. A company built not on marketing, but on the quiet, unshakeable trust of 2,500 pilgrims and their families.

Year of the Horse — Our Biggest Year Yet

WHAT DRIVES US

Our Mission, Vision & Values

Our Mission

To make the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra — and all sacred Himalayan pilgrimages — accessible, safe, and spiritually authentic for every Indian who hears the divine calling.

We do this by combining deep local expertise in the Tibet route with genuine care for every pilgrim's physical safety, spiritual preparation, and financial peace of mind. A pilgrimage should be defined by devotion, not difficulty. That is the standard we hold ourselves to — on every single departure.

Our Vision

To be the most trusted name in sacred travel in India — not just for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, but for every Himalayan and international pilgrimage that a devout Indian heart could aspire to.

We envision a future where no pilgrim is left behind because of age, physical limitation, or financial constraint — where every package we build is thoughtfully designed to include, not exclude. Where technology serves devotion, and data serves dharma.

Our Core Values

These are not words on a wall. They are the principles that govern every decision we make — from how we price a package to how we respond at 3 AM when a pilgrim needs help at 5,000 metres.

  • Transparency — No hidden costs. Ever. Full pricing disclosed upfront.
  • Safety — We have never compromised a pilgrim's safety for cost or convenience.
  • Devotion — We are pilgrimage specialists, not travel agents who happen to run Yatras.
  • Accountability — When something goes wrong, we own it and fix it. No excuses.
  • Inclusivity — Helicopter options, VIP routes, senior-friendly pacing — Kailash is for all.

What Sets Us Apart

Why 15,000+ Pilgrims  Trust Us
with Their Most Sacred Journey

💯

100% Permit Success — Not a Single Rejection

Obtaining a Tibet Travel Permit and Chinese Group Visa is a complex, documentation-heavy process with strict timelines. In our 12+ year history, not a single application submitted by our team has been rejected. That is not luck — it is the result of meticulous documentation, deep relationships, and a zero-tolerance policy for errors in paperwork.

📅

Panchang-Aligned Departures for Maximum Blessings

We do not simply put pilgrims on the next available flight. Every batch departure is meticulously planned against the Hindu Panchang to ensure pilgrims arrive at Lake Mansarovar on Purnima — the full moon — for the holiest possible dip. This spiritual synchronisation is something very few operators think about, let alone execute consistently.

🏥

Zero Hidden Costs — Complete Price Transparency

When we quote a price, that is the price. Chinese Group Visa, Tibet Travel Permit, GST, accommodation, Sattvic meals, Sherpa support — every cost is disclosed upfront in an itemised sheet. We have heard too many stories of pilgrims arriving at the Nepal border to discover unexpected expenses. That will never happen with us.

🍽️

Pure Sattvic Meals — Even at 5,000 Metres

A pilgrimage to Shiva's abode demands purity — not just of spirit, but of body. We serve 100% Sattvic vegetarian meals throughout every journey — no onion, no garlic, freshly prepared. Our kitchen team ensures nutritionally appropriate high-altitude meals that keep pilgrims energised for the demanding Parikrama, even in remote Tibetan camps at 4,800 metres.

📋

Subsidy Documentation — We Help You Claim What's Yours

State governments across India offer subsidies of up to ₹1 lakh for Kailash Yatra pilgrims. Most operators ignore this. We proactively collect all required documentation during the Yatra — completion certificates, photographs at Kailash/Mansarovar, permit copies — and guide every eligible pilgrim through their state's subsidy application after they return. This is our way of giving back.

🏛️

Government Subsidy Help

Multiple state governments offer subsidies for Kailash Yatra. We help you check eligibility, file applications, and maximise your claim.

OUR COMMITMENT

What Every Pilgrim Can Expect Without Exception

These are not aspirational goals. They are commitments we make to every pilgrim who books with us — and they are non-negotiable.

☎️

24/7 Emergency Support During the Yatra

Our operations team is reachable around the clock during every active Yatra. If a pilgrim needs help at 2 AM on the Tibetan Plateau, we are there. Emergency protocols are in place for medical evacuations, permit issues, and weather delays.

📱

Live Updates to Family Members Back Home

We understand that when a pilgrim is at 5,000 metres with limited connectivity, the family at home worries. Our team sends regular location and status updates to designated family contacts — a simple but deeply appreciated practice.

🔄

Full Refund on Permit Rejection or Tibet Closure

In the rare event that Tibet borders are closed or a permit is rejected (which has never happened with us), we provide a full refund or reschedule at no extra cost. We do not hide behind force majeure clauses when our pilgrims' money is at stake.

🎓

Pre-Departure Briefing & Spiritual Preparation

Every pilgrim receives a comprehensive pre-departure briefing — covering altitude preparation, packing, medical requirements, spiritual significance of each stop, and what to expect on the Parikrama. We prepare you for the inner journey as much as the outer one.
